Congratulations on your engagement!

Now you’ve made the decision to marry, the fun begins…

There’s lots to do to ensure your ceremony is a true reflection of you and your partner’s relationship and hopes for your future. Our first meeting is an obligation-free “get to know you” opportunity enabling you to decide if my personality and services are what you are looking for. We will take a look at the legal requirements and I can answer any questions or concerns you have. Once you’ve decided you would like to engage me, we will meet to discuss the fine detail which includes the logistics and atmosphere of your ceremony and what you definitely do and don’t want.

"Belinda was everything and more that we wanted in a celebrant! From our initial meeting to rehearsal to the actual day, nothing was too much trouble. Belinda ensured that our ceremony was perfect from start to finish, her genuine and kind nature and her experience meant that our ceremony was one to always remember." Stacey and Kris, Trigg Beach

Belinda Johns

I’ve been a celebrant for ten years and simply love marrying people.  I have a wealth of life experience to bring to your occasion.  I worked as a registered nurse for many years, then worked in sales and marketing before deciding to become an authorised marriage celebrant.  This required specialised training and ongoing professional development which I do every year.  I’ve raised a family of three gorgeous children with my husband of 40 years and have two darling grandsons.

I write each individual ceremony to suit the couple.  In order to do this I need you to share with me the things that are important to you. If you want to write your own vows, I can help you with that and you’ll be amazed at how exciting this can be.  I’m very adaptable so if that’s not your thing then I can provide you with a large selection of choices.

You and your partner are unique and I have a genuine compassion and understanding of the way people are all so different. I’ve married couples of all ages and nationalities both locally and from overseas and interstate and in many different settings.
